Experience Counts
A basic misconception within our industry is that REVIT is a CAD tool. Unfortunately this in our opinion is as far from the truth you can get. We have seen endless errors from other consultants where the REVIT work has been carried out by a CAD Technician, whilst this may be deemed a cost effective way of providing REVIT models. We find when we examine the MEP model closely things don't stack up, items such as incorrect falls shown on drainage, wrongly sized ductwork with ratios greater than 4:1 and in some cases, physical impossibilities like duct work tee'd off from attenuators.
This is where we differ from the rest. Our REVIT work is carried out by experienced Mechanical & Electrical design Engineers. We believe this provides the best solution and limits the risk associated with a badly drawn model.
